Edersheim - Hancock. August 1, at Trinity Church, Ryde, by the Rev Arthur Wade, MA, Incumbent, assisted by the Rev George Prothero, Chaplain to the Queen at Osborne, the Rev Dr Edersheim, St Andrew's Church, Torquay, to Sophia, youngest daughter of the late Rear Admiral Hancock, CB.
Belfast News Letter Tuesday, 6 August 1867.

Civil List Pensions.
The list of pensions granted during the year ended 20th of June, 1894 and charged upon the civil list is as follows:
Mrs Sofia Edersheim, in recognition of the merits of her late husband, Dr Edersheim, as a writer on theology and biblical criticism, 75/-
London Evening Standard Wednesday 4 July 1894.

Ecclesiastical.
Mrs Edersheim has presented to Exeter College, Oxford, the library of her deceased husband. It contains a valuable and useful collection of Hebrew and modern theological books. Mr Edersheim's three Grinfield Lectures on the Septuagint, which he wrote out at Mentone, will be read during this term by Professor Margoliouth.

Edersheim. On the 2nd inst, at 6 Crick-road, Oxford, Sofia, widow of the Rev Alfred Edersheim MA, DD, in her 78th year.
