SKERMAN, John Gordon Leslie (Jack) - On 24th October 2001 (peacefully at Raeburn Hospital, Cambridge); aged 99 years. Much loved husband of the late Gina. Loved father of Prue Dales (Cape Town), Julia Gibson (Wellington), Robin Wesselink (Hamilton) and Peter Skerman (Hamilton) and father-in-law of John Dales, Cliff Gibson, John Wesselink (deceased) and Jill Skerman. Loved grandfather of Richard and Christopher Dales; Tim and Kate Gibson, Jane and Sally Skerman. Loved great-grandfather of Charlotte and Cameron Gibson. Grateful thanks to the staff of Raeburn Hospital for their loving care of John over the past 12 years. A Private Family Service was held at Raeburn Hospital on Saturday 27th October 2001.

John married Ceciley Georgina Cotes PEDDER [2321] [MRIN: 763], daughter of Cyril Newland PEDDER [2245] and Emma Louisa JOHNSON [2244], in 1939. (Ceciley Georgina Cotes PEDDER [2321] was born in 1910 in Fielding N.Z. and died on 25 May 2001.)
