THIS IS THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT of me
The Reverend GEORGE WILLIAM HUNTINGFORD of The Rectory Barnwell in the County of Northampton Clerk in Holy Orders Rector of Barnwell aforesaid I direct the payment of my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses by my Executors hereinafter named as soon as conveniently may be after my decease I give and bequeath to my son Edward Wynn Huntingford my five hundred pounds Canada four per cent bonds my eight hundred pounds York Corporation three per cent stock and my ten shares in the Brazilian Sub Marine Telegraph Company absolutely I give and bequeath to my son George Tremenheere Huntingford my one thousand pounds Canadian Pacific Railway three and a half per cent land grant bonds my two hundred and thirty pounds Mexican Railway six per cent debenture stock and my forty pounds Industrial and General Trust Unified Stock absolutely I give and bequeath the ti following legacies free of legacy duty namely to my coachman William Thompson the sum of fifty pounds to my gardener Alfred Kisbee (whose debts amounting to over forty five pounds I paid in the year one thousand eight hundred and ninety three) the sum of five pounds to Ann Cooper the sum of fifteen pounds to Fanny Cooper and Clara Tough the sum of five pounds each and to each of the female servants who are and shall have been in my
service at the time of my decease not less than five years the sum of five pounds and to those of my female servants who are and shall have been in my service at the time of my decease a less period than five years the sum of one pound each I give an annuity of fifty pounds to my daughter Laura Mildred Huntingford during her life free of legacy duty the first payment of such annuity to be made within twelve calendar months after my decease And I direct my Trustees hereinafter named to appropriate and set apart and invest such a sum of money as will when invested produce by the income thereof an annual sum equal to the amount of the said annuity and to apply the income in payment of the said annuity which fund shall on the dropping of the said annuity fall into and form part of my residuary estate Whereas by an index tune of settlement made on my marriage with my late wife Laura Anne dated the sixteenth day of August one thousand eight hundred
and fifty nine I have power as the survivor of my said wife and myself to appoint by will the trust funds settled by the said indenture among the children of my marriage with my said late wife or such one or more exclusively of the others or other of them at such age or time or respective ages or times and in such shares and on such trusts as I may as such survivor by such appointment declare Now in exercise of the said power and of all other powers (if any) me thereunto enabling I hereby appoint all the moneys stocks funds and securities which at my decease shall be held upon or subject to the trusts of the said indenture of settlement unto and among my daughters Mary Huntingford Agnes Westfaling Huntingford Ethel Christina Huntingford and Maud Huntingford in equal shares,. absolutely and to be vested in and payable to them immediately after my decease whereas by the Will of the Reverend Edward Tent Richards deceased (the father of my said late wife) I have as the survivor of my said late wife and myself power to appoint by Will a sum of three thousand pounds and the stocks funds and securities for the time being representing the same amongst the children of my marriage with my said late wife or such one or more exclusively of the others or other of them and at such age or ages. time or times and if more than one in such shares and with such trusts or limitations, conditions and restrictions and in such manner as I as such survivor shall by such appointment declare Now in exercise of the said power and of all other powers (if any) me thereunto enabling I hereby appoint the said sum of three thousand pounds and the stocks funds and securities which at my decease shall represent the same unto and among my said daughters Mary Huntingford Agnes Westfaling Huntingford Ethel Christina Huntingford and Maud Huntingford in equal shares absolutely to be vested in and payable to them immedia-tely after my decease All the rest residue and remainder of my estate whether real or personal I give devise and bequeath unto and to the use of my said four aaughters last named in equal shares absolutely And I apoint my said son Edward Wynn Huntingford my said daughters Mary and Ethel Christina and my friend the Reverend Francis Nugee of Shelton near Newark in the County of Nottingham Clerk in Holy Orders EXECUTORS AND TRUSTEES of this my Will hereby revoking all wills and testamentary dispositions heretofore made by me and declaring this to be my last Will IN WITNESS whereof I the above named Testator George William Huntingford have hereunto set my hand this twentieth day of July one thousand eight hundred and ninety six
