Henry in the family tradition was a follower of the High Church Oxford Movement, this brought him into conflict from time to time with his Bishop.

Henry married Caroline DAUBENY [22206] [MRIN: 7977], daughter of DAUBENY [22217] and Unknown, on 23 Oct 1823 in St Paul Bristol. (Caroline DAUBENY [22206] died in 1885 in Clifton Bristol GLS.)
