Deed: Esther Hall of Colchester (widow and devisee of Thomas Hall of same, gentleman), John Halls of Fordham, clerk (his eldest brother), and James Smyth of Upton in West Ham, esquire (sole executor of Robert Pyott of Layer de la Haye, esquire, deceased), to William Daniel of Colchester, gentleman.

Redhouse Farm (containing 60 acres) in parish of St. Michael, Mile End in Colchester, with its appurtenances fields heretofore called Seven Acres, Kell Field, Long Field, Hockers, Cooks, a field adjoining the last, and a field adjoining the King's Meadow, which last 2 fields contain 11 acres, also 2 fields called Ten Acres and Eight Acres; all late in occupation of Daniel Chapman and now of Edward Betts. Also 3 newly brick built houses, late in several occupation of Joseph Harris, Joseph Coule and William Kidloy, now of Richard Freshfeild, Abraham Devart and Samuel Talworth, and 1 and a half acres meadow on east side of the houses; all in parish of St. Peter, Colchester.

Recites: (1) Settlement for £600, 7 December 1728, (i) Thomas Halls, gentleman, (ii) Robert Price esquire and William Boys maltster; (iii) said Esther by name of Esther Borrodell spinster; all of Colchester; on marriage of Thomas and Esther; (2) death of Thomas without issue, 16 May 1736, and his Will, 14 March 1734/5, devising the above premises to Esther; (3) Bill in Chancery, Hilary Term 1736, filed by Smyth against said Esther and John Halls reciting that Thomas, 9 November 1729, had executed a Bond to Pyott in penal sum of £200 for payment of £100 which he had neglected to pay [with a few subsequent details]
