Weston, Henry - McGregor, Esq. of West Horsley Place, co. Surrey, b. 3 May. 1853.

LINEAGE. Adam de Weston, of Surrey, who had the manor of Weston, King John, was son of Walter de Weston, grandson of Ralph de Weston, Lord of Wistanetone, Changton, Chittington, Heene, etc, co. Sussex, and great-grandson of Radulphus be Weston, who had from William, Lord de Braose, Baron of Brember, Wistaneston, for twelve hides, and SultInges, for seventeen. William the Conqueror. Adam de Westons gt-grandson

Sir William de Weston Knt married the Lady Joan de Pontisse, and had four sons, William, his heir; Walter of Wernham, co. Sussex, in holy orders: Thomas. Lord of the manor of Weston, Shire. Surrey, living 33 EDWARD I.; and John the eldest son.

WILLIAM de Weston, Esq., escheator to the King for Surrey, Sussex, Middlesex, and Kent, 22 EDWARD I., m. 1st, ALICE, dau. and co-heiress of Matthew de Boville, of West CLandon, Surrey, and by her had a son,

WILLIAM, Lord of Weston and West Clandon, co. Surrey, who m. Margery, dau and co-heir of Thomas and Juliana Romeyn, of Clapham Surrey, and by her had three sons, William, Edmund and Richard, all three of whom d. s. p.
He m. 2ndly, Isabella, dau. and co-heiress of Walter Burgeia, of Horsham, Sussex, and by her had two sons, WILLIAM and WALTER. The elder son.

John Samuel Henry Weston Esq. Of West Horsley, CB., Lt Col 31st Bengal native infantry, which regiment he commanded at the storming and capture of Khelat, 1839. He m. 1st Sarah daughter of Major General McGregor, and by her (who d. 1826) had a son, Henry, his heir; and a daughter, Mary Isabella Adams, d. 1840: he m 2ndly, Margaret, daughter of the Rev Patrick Nicholson, minister of Thurso, Caithness, NB and by her (who d.1838) had one son, Malcolm Charles, b. August 1832, d. 1856; and 3 daus. viz, Augusta Cerjat m. 1852, to the late Lt Frederick Jeune, 25th Bengal native infantry; Jesse, d. an infant; and Henrietta Jane.
