TEMPORARILY INSANE.
LAWYER WHO SHOT HIMSELF.
TELEGRAPH ASSOCIATION Dunedin, Sunday.
An inquest on the body of John F. Woodhouse, a lawyer, who was found shot in his office on Friday morning, was held before Mr. Graham this afternoon.
Mr. J. F. M. Fraser said he had noticed lately that deceased was in a measure losing his sense of proportion, and was working under some pressure. He had complained of pains in his head, and witness had suggested on more than one occasion that he should take a holiday. All his papers were in perfect order, and brought up to date. That statement applied to all his work at the office.
A verdict was returned that Woodhouse died from a gunshot wound self inflicted whilst in a state of temporary insanity.
