Henrietta played a role in supporting overseas Missions. The Rev Simon Gibbon was moving to the Lockport Mission at Cape Breton Nova Scotia in 1885 and "The Net Cast in Many Waters: Sketches From the Life of the Missionaries, 1885" contains the following
"The present address of the Rev Simon Gibbons is Lockport, Nova Scotia, Canada. Any parcels and donations from those kindly willing to help him in his new Mission will be gladly received and forwarded to him by Miss Henrietta Jackson, North Lodge, Windsor Forest. Parcels containing church work, warm clothing, books, papers toys, etc have been very gratefully received and were sent out in the box which left England in the Autumn.
