1. Edward Money: Will, 1889.
This is the Last Will and Testament of me Edward Money Lt Col in the Turkish Service retired at present residing in Eardley House Worthing County of Sussex I hereby appoint my wife Hannah Money known as Amy Money as Sole Executrix of this my will I wish my body to be cremated in accordance with instructions which my wife and sole executrix Hannah Money known as Amy Money as aforesaid will carry out and which instructions will be found in a separate cover accompanying this my will.
I give devise and bequeath to the under mentioned person's:
I devise and bequeath to my son Aurelian Money £153 6s 8p being one third of two bonds aggregating £460 payable to me on the death of Mrs L Russell and also to my son Aurelian one quarter of the amount which may stand in my name in the Royal Benefit Building Society 5 Argyll Pl Regent St, London W at the time of my decease
I devise and bequeath to my son Aurelian Money to shares in the Credit Foncier of Mauritius Ltd the par value of which is £10 per share as also to my son Aurelian 180 shares in the Agricultural Company of Mauritius Ltd the par value of which is £1 per share
I appoint my wife Hannah Money known as Amy Money and my brother Alonzo Money C.B. to be the Guardians of my two infant sons Kyrle Money and Edward Money the shares left to my two infant sons to be transferred to the said Guardians namely Hannah Money known as Amy Money and Alonzo Money as named above in trust and to be by them at their sole discretion capital as well as income if necessary expended severally for the education and benefit of my said to sons Kyrle Money and Edward Money and the balance if any shall be paid over to my said to sons severally at such time as the Guardians Hannah Money known as Amy Money and Alonzo Money shall think fit this shall be done whether my said sons shall then be of age or not
And I declare that the said Guardians of my said to sons shall be responsible to no one anyway whatsoever as regards the application of capital and income arising from the said shares and that the said Guardians shall have the power when ever they think fit to sell all the said shares left to the said Kyrle Money and Edward Money or any part of the said shares and invest the proceeds thereof in any other securities or property of any kind whatsoever
And I further desire in case my wife or any of my sons or daughters should die without attaining a vested interest in the said bequests made in their favour as above then the said shares of the one so dying and the proceeds of the shares shall be divided in equal proportions between my wife my sons and my daughters who shall then survive
And I further desire if at the time of my decease I shall stand possessed of any property outside of and in excess of that stated in this my will then all the same shall be equally divided among the survivors of my wife my sons and my daughters either by equal shares the whole of it as it then stands or by selling it or any part of it if my Executrix thinks well and then so dividing the proceeds
In Witness whereof I the said Edward Money have to this my Last Will set my hand this 5th day of September 1889

This is a codicil to my will as above I appoint my friend Edward Charles Hampton at present residing at 25 Pelham Crescent South Kensington London SW co-executor with my wife Hannah Money known as Amy Money I further leave and bequeath the sum of £80 due to me on a Promissory Note for value received by the Rev T E Franklin of old Dalby Hall Melton Mowbray payable next January 1892 to my wife Hannah Money known as Amy Money as aforesaid
