Cadwallader Blayney, 7th Lord Blayney, Baron of Monaghan was baptised on 21 April 1693 at St. Peter's Church, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland. He was the son of William Blayney, 6th Lord Blayney, Baron of Monaghan and Hon. Mary Caulfeild. He married, firstly, Mary Touchet, daughter of Hon. John Touchet and Elizabeth Savile, on 22 April 1714 at Dublin Castle, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland. He married, secondly, Mary Cairnes, daughter of Sir Alexander Cairnes, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Gould, in September 1724. He died on 19 March 1732/33 at age 39 at Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland. He was buried at Castle Blayney, County Monaghan, Ireland
He succeeded to the title of 7th Lord Blayney, Baron of Monaghan, co. Monaghan [I., 1621] on 3 January 1705/6. He held the office of Governor of Sligo. He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of County Monaghan.1
