John Ambrose died 26 Feb 1859 his Will dated 13 Aug 1853 devising all his estate to his wife Julia, his sole executrix, proved 7 May 1859. Witness's Jas Beaumont Lincolns Inn Fields & James Scott Copford.

Ambrose John 7 May 1859. The Will of John Ambrose late of Copford in the County of Essex farmer deceased who died 26 February 1859 at Copford aforesaid was proved at the Principal Registry by the oath of Julia Ambrose of Copford aforesaid Widow the Relict and the sole Executrix. Effects under £9000

John Ambrose, only son of William Davis and Charlotte Ambrose. 26 February 1859 aged 69.

I know him to have been a kind and good man and I believe a force . . . . . (for good?)

Julia Ambrose (wife of the above and elder daughter of Capt Thomas Liveing of Harwich owner and master of the well-known continental postal packets there until they were bought by the Govt and made a Department of the Navy, and Mr Liveing's son William, Capt William Liveing, was given a Lieut's Commission and . , . . . to command them first at Holyhead and afterwards at Weymouth - where he retired and on a pension paid thro ye post office till his death)
Died 14 February 1868 aged 80 years. As true and good a woman as ever lived

Elizabeth Ambrose (only child of the above Capt William Liveing by Luisa (nee Orgee) his wife, and wife of the following - loving, true, and very affectionate and highly intellectual and cultured but jealous to a fault) Died February 25 1874 aged 50 "Renew my will from day to day" put on by her husband . . . . . (Verse of Hymn Anct & Mod) ?

Rev John Ambrose M.A. (Formerly Rector of Trimley St Martin - retired on his father's death - husband of ye above) Died 1 April 1888 aged 67. With not my education "He taught the people knowledge" Eccl XII. 9.

It is rather uncertain what are Edward's personal comments?
