1. Sabina Catherine Bowen: Will 5 Dec 1891.
I SABINA CATHERINE BOWEN of Freshwater in the Isle of Wight spinster do hereby revoke all former wills and testamentary dispositions made by me and declare this to be my last Will and Testament
I appoint my friend William Taylor WARRY of Whitehall in the County of Middlesex Gentleman and my cousin Bernard Francis Drake (hereinafter called "my trustees") to be the EXECUTORS and trustees of this my Will I direct payment of all my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses as soon as conveniently may be after my decease
Whereas the Reverend Francis Charles Drake of Freshwater aforesaid is now indebted to me in the sum of two thousand pounds and for which he pays me interest of five pounds per centum per annum and I hold a Promissory Note dated the fourth instant as a security therefor Now I direct my trustees to continue the said sum of two thousand pounds in its present state of investment during the lives of the said Francis Charles Drake and Sarah Catherine his wife and the life of the survivor of them provided they punctually pay the interest to accrue due thereon and from and after default or failure to pay the said interest as aforesaid by the death of the survivor of them the said Francis Charles Drake and Sarah Catherine his Wife I bequeath the said sum of two thousand pounds to their two children Bernard Francis Drake and Constance Mary Drake in equal shares I also bequeath to the said Bernard Francis Drake and Constance Mary Drake in equal shares the interest to be derived from the said sum of two thousand pounds as aforesaid I bequeath the following legacies all of which I direct to be paid free of legacy duty namely
To my three cousins Jane Emily Trywhitt Lambert, Lily Agnes Lambert and Mary Katherine Lambert daughters of General Lambert of Ringmore House Teigmouth in the County of Devon the sum of three hundred pounds each
To the said Constance Mary Drake in addition to the above mentioned bequests the sum of one hundred pounds
To the said Bernard Francis Drake in addition to the above mentioned bequests the sum of fifty pounds
To my cousin Mrs Bryan Edwards the sum of one hundred pounds
To my two cousins Catherine Elizabeth Elliott and Caroline Josephine Elliott the sum of fifty pounds each
To John Francis Bernard Drake son of the said Bernard Francis Drake the sum of one hundred pounds
To my friend and Executor the said William Taylor Warry the sum of fifty 'pounds
To the said Francis Charles Drake and Sarah Catherine his wife the sum of fifty pounds each
To Helen Lavinia Drake wife of the said Bernard Francis Drake the sum of fifty pounds
To my friend Lucy Maria Smith of Oswald Villa Weston Super Mare in the county of Somerset spinster the sum of fifty pounds
And all the rest and residue of my real and personal estate I give devise and bequeath the same to the said Bernard Francis Drake
And I declare that my trustees shall be indemnified in the fullest manner out of my estate against any loss which may be occasioned through or in consequence of their allowing the above mentioned sum of two thousand pounds to remain in its present state of investment it being my desire and intention that they shall not in carrying out these directions herein contained incur any liability for so doing

THIS IS A CODICIL to the last Will and Testament of me SABINA CATHERINE BOWEN formerly of Newport in the Isle of Wight but now of Reading in the County of Berks spinster which Will bears date the fifth day of December one thousand eight hundred and ninety one Whereas by my said Will I have given the sum of fifty pounds to Sarah Catherine Drake And whereas the said Sarah Catherine Drake has since died and I now give and bequeath the sum of fifty pounds to her husband the Reverend Francis Charles Drake formerly of Newport aforesaid but now of Reading aforesaid in addition to the legacy or legacies already bequeathed to him by my said Will And in all other respects I confirm my said Will
IN WITNESS whereof I have to this my codicil set my hand this fourteenth day of April one thousand eight hundred and ninety six

ON the 14th day of April 1898 Probate of this Will and Codicil was granted to William Taylor Warry one of the Executors.

Bowen Sabina Katharine of Reading spinster died 26 December 1897 at Theale near Reading Probate London 14 April 1898 to William Taylor Warry gentleman.
