bullet  General Notes:

Obituary:
"Henry Fenn, son and only child of William and Ann Marshall Fenn, was born at Ipswich, England, on Sep. 24, 1853, and died at his home 11th concession of South Norwich, Dec. 24th, 1928, in his 76th year. When four years of age, he came with his parents to Canada. They lived for a few years near Straffordville and later moved on a farm near Corinth., and his early manhood was spent in that community. Fifty-one years ago last November he was married to Miss Deette Hayward, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hayward, of Corinth who survives him. Several years ago he suffered a stroke pf paralysis, which weakened his constitution, but he was never known to complain. He bore every physical disposition with patience and cheerfulness. Mr. Fenn was a man of sterling integrity, possessing many traits of character, which endeared him to his family and friends. He was a man of few words, quiet and unassuming in his nature, but firm and unyielding where principle was involved, a kind husband, an affectionate and indulgent father, and a true friend and neighbor. He was never known to critize or find fault with others. He was a pure unsullied Christian manhood, one who, in both home and community, lived a life worthy of imitation. His genial, kindly face will be missed in the home and the community in which he lived. Besides his sorrowing wife, he leaves to mourn his loss, one daughter, Mrs Ira Ketchabaw [Cora Bell late Fenn] of Eden, and two sons William of Aylmer and Ervin of Tillsonburg; also nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild. The funeral will take place this (Thursday) afternoon, from his late residence to the New Road Cemetery for internement, in charge of Rev. R. G. Thompson of Ebenezer.
